Q&A with Professional Golfer Michael Murray about RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support Athletic Supplement

Michael Murray - Professional Golfer
I have been talking about the merits of our RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support supplement line for athletes that want to increase their strength, build muscle, and decrease their recovery time.  I have been wanting to do a Q&A with an athlete that can talk candidly about their experience with our RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support supplement line.  Our friend Michael Murray is a Professional Golfer and he was willing to talk about his experience with our RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support 15 and RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support 45.  Here is the Q&A talking about Michael's experience:

Q: What issues were you experiencing prior to taking RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support?
A: Before using RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support I was experiencing a few problems.  As a golfer, I am out in the heat and sun every day for my job.  I was experiencing a lack of energy on a daily basis.  I was losing the energy to practice and play after only a few hours.  I was also experiencing recovery issues.  I work out 2-3 times a week.  I would wake up in the mornings after workouts so sore I couldn't compete the next day.  Soreness and my body aching would last 2 days post workouts.

Q: How long had you been experiencing these problems:

A:  I have been experiencing these problems for about a year prior to using RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support.

Q: What other options had you tried or considered to increase your athletic performance?

A: Other options I have tried using to increase my performance were amino products and whey protein.  I have also changed my diet to try and increase my everyday performance.

Q: When did you start to notice a difference with the RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support?
RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support
A:  When I started using RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support 15, after just a few days the results were noticeable.  To start, my recovery time was night and day.  I would work out in the gym for 90 minutes and spend 8 hours at the golf course, then wake up the next morning with no soreness or lack of energy.  I could do heavy lifting in the gym and wake up the next morning with almost no tightness or sore muscles.  After 5 months of using RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support 15, I took the jump to RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support 45.  This is when I started noticing the largest gains.  Not only were my energy levels high, but my body started changing.  I have been seeing big gains in muscle growth after 2 months of taking RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support 45.  I have gained 7lbs of muscle in 8-10 weeks of using RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support 45.  My muscles have started to become more defined and larger.  That was the biggest difference between the Nutritional Support 15 and Nutritional Support 45 for me.

Q: Is this a product you would recommend to any professional athlete or amateur athlete based on your experience?
A: I recommend this product to any athlete trying to get to the next level.  I have been spreading the word after seeing such amazing results.  This product has really taken my body to another level.  I am able to practice and train as hard as I want 7 days a week without tearing down my body.  I also want to point out that I have been very prone to injuries.  Since taking the RejuvenateYou Nutritional Support Products for 8 months, I have been injury free!

Gluten Free Apple Pie

Gluten Free Apple Pie
This contribution comes from Ms. JoAnn Siegel.  She is a spectacular cook and she claims to not have any recipes for all the wonderful dishes she makes.  She goes by feel and years of experience being a scrappy cook.  I had tried her normal Apple Pie with Gluten and I must admit it is the BEST Applie Pie I have ever had.  I wanted to see if it was possible to make an Apple Pie with a Gluten Free Pie Crust and JoAnn was very receptive to the idea.  I forced her to sit down and give us the recipe for her Gluten Free Apple Pie.

Ingredients:
Gluten Free Pie Crust (Will update the blog later with the directions)
6 Large Gala Apples (Peeled, Cored, and sliced 1/4")
1-2/3 cups Sour Cream
2 Organic Eggs
1-1/4 cup Organic Brown Rice Syrup or Agave
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Vanilla
1/3 cup Brown Rice Flour

Mix all the ingredients together, pour over the the apples, then spoon all the ingredients into the unbaked pie crust.  Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.  During the last 15 minutes of baking you are going to add the "Topping".

"Topping Recipe"
1/3 cup Brown Rice Flour
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
1/2 stick Organic Butter
1/ cup chopped Walnuts

Mix everything together in a bowl, add the 1/2 stick of butter (melted), add the walnuts last.  Use a butter knife to make the topping granular, pack on top of pie with hand.

This was the first attempt at making a Gluten Free Apple Pie and there are a couple of things I would like to change for the next pie.  One thing she noticed is that the Pie Crust was not very pliable.  Next time she makes the pie we are going to add Xanthan Gum to make it more elastic.  Ideally I would like to find a substitute for Sour Cream.  But then again, I eat so clean these days that I cheat on my diet when I eat my mom's Indian Food and when someone wants to offer a healthy desert alternative.  As my old boss used to say, "If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin".   So I am adding Ms. Joann's Gluten Free Apple Pie to my cheat day!

Give me your thoughts or recommendations for any changes or alternative ingredients any of you have made in your deserts.  For more information feel free to check-out our "Healthy Blog" on our website at www.rejuvenate-you.org
