Weight Loss with RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer, 4 Week Update

RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer
This is an update on the progress of a patient of ours who has started taking our RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer along with changing his diet.  Our patient is a 44 year old male who works out regularly (about 4-5 times a week), but has he has seen his weight slowly creep up.  He was weighing right at 161 pounds and his clothes were fitting too tight, along with the fact he never gets a good night sleep.  I suggested to our patient that he take our RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops along with modifying his diet to follow our "Approved Foods" list and a Paleo Diet.  This is his progress report through four weeks:

Update 10-26-13

Weigh in… 152.4 for a weight loss of 1.2 Lbs.  Not great, not bad, but the scales are still going in the right direction so I will take it.  I am not disappointed because I know that the more weight you lose and the closer you get to your goal the slower you lose weight.  I just have to remind myself that calorie wise that is still essentially the same as cutting out a meal a day.
I did not have any energy this week, maybe because the weather turned real cold all of a sudden or maybe the fact I am still struggling with smoking.  Also I have been working really long hours at the office.  No matter what by the end of every day it has been a real struggle to try to make it to the gym.   Being that tired I am surprised that my sleeping patterns have actually gotten worse.  Maybe because I have been working out very hard and my body has been losing a lot of weight it’s just wearing me out and I need to take more time to let my body adjust to what all is going on with it.  Either way I have to wonder about the metabolism boosting effects of those drops.  The drops definitely suppress appetite but I need an energy boost.

Subsequently I only worked out twice and did not do any cardio last week.  The times I did work out I went from machines to free weights so, with a change up like that, recovery time was a lot longer.

I did change my diet some..  I made that shrimp dish and had it for lunch the entire week which was a great break from the chicken wraps I had been eating previously.  Thursday and Friday I had chicken salad for dinner because I was really getting tired of salmon.
Using the mirror check I did not notice any body change so that leads me to suspect I am finally starting to lose weight from my abdomen.  I seem to have lost a very small amount from my waist line which would easily account for the pound and change of weight loss. Anyways I am still losing weight faster then I was before.

Till next weeks update…

Here are a couple of my thoughts on our patient's progress:

1. Our patient is approaching 10 pounds of weight loss for the month.  He was stuck at 161 pounds and not seeing any results prior to changing his diet and starting the RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops.  His results are fantastic!

RejuvenateYou B Vitamin Complex
2. Now we are approaching the point where the results could be slower in coming.  It's almost to the point where you don't look at the scale.  Ultimately it's a matter of how you feel and how you look.  If the scale does not move or the number goes up slightly, but you have a leaner and toner shape, so be it!

3. There are a number of factors that can effect energy levels and weight loss (i.e. diet, stress, hormones, etc.)  But for this particular patient he has seen fantastic results with the RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer to help him lose weight.  For the next month he is going to take the RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer along with the RejuvenateYou B Vitamin Complex.  The RejuvenateYou B Vitamin Complex should help aid him with energy production, deal with mental and physical stress, and promote a healthy metabolism.

The RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops are great for people who want to lose weight.  BUT, anyone wanting to lose weight must change how they eat in order to have long-term success.  When a person combines fitness as part of their daily life, it is the perfect storm of losing weight and keeping it off.

Weight Loss with RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer, 3 Week Update

RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops

Update 10-19-13
Today’s weigh in is 153.6 pounds.  Weight loss for the week 1.8 pounds.  Not bad but not great, however I will take it.
This is where the mirror vs. the scales comes in.  I might have not lost that much weight but looking in the mirror I have lost a lot more weight from my legs, arms and upper body.  So overall I am not disappointed with my results.
Things that changed this week…
After a 2 week break from the gym I went back and did a full week’s workout.  I think that is the main reason I lost so little weight, I was getting my muscles back in workout shape.  Next weeks results will be or should be really interesting.
Otherwise my diet was the same as last week.
Things I am changing next week…
I will be changing my workouts from machine to free weights.  The old routine has gotten boring and I am not seeing any increase in weight lifted or muscle mass.
Trying to get away from all the salt in food I am going to try cook more of my food at home instead of buying already prepared food.  What I will do is have one day a week where I cook a bunch of stuff then keep it in the fridge.
I don’t know if it is related to the paleo diet but my tinnitus has seemed to lessen over the last week.  I will pay more attention to it this week.
Till next weeks update…

Our patient continues to see fantastic results with his weight loss.  There are a couple of things to point out:

1. Our patient lost 1.8 pounds for the week and he wasn't happy.  Keep in mind his weight was not BUDGING from 161 pounds only three weeks ago. Even though he isn't thrilled with the results for this week, looking at the aggregate total he has lost almost 3 pounds per week!!  Anyway you look at it, that is fantastic.

2. I like the fact he is seeing the loss of weight in the mirror.  Ideally I don't like my weight loss clients to focus on the scale, let the mirror be the confirmation that what you are doing is working.  Clearly what he is doing is working both in the mirror and the scale.

3.  We have had numerous patients at RejuvenateYou notice they can get off Cholesterol, Hypertension, and Diabetes medication simply by following a Paleo Diet.  Doing a quick search on Tinnitus I found a forum where numerous people mentioned the success they had by switching to a Paleo Diet.

Weight Loss with RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer, 2 Week Update

We have a patient of ours who has started taking our RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer along with changing his diet. This is his progress report through two weeks:

Ok sorry about taking so long to do this.

RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops
First off a bunch of information.  I’m not exactly certain when I started the Paleo diet but let’s say I started the same day I started the metabolism booster which was 9-28-13.  The start weight was 161.4

On 10-05-13 I weighed in at 158.2.

What I am doing…
I’m doing the paleo diet but not hard core.  Because of not being able to find certain types of food easily I don’t always do grass fed beef, free range, ECT.
I am consuming 1 tablespoon of coconut oil dissolved in coffee or herbal tea 3 times a day, basically before every meal.  I am also using the metabolism booster drops, taking them first thing in the morning.

What I have experienced so far…

The three things (diet, oil and drops) seem to work in conjunction.  The first thing I notice was a reduction in the amount of food I ate at each meal and at the same time did not notice any difference in my level of satisfaction.  For example, breakfast was 3 eggs, 3 sausages and a quarter of an avocado, then as time went on it went down to 2 eggs and 2 sausages and now its 1 egg and 1 sausage with avocado.  The same reduction has happened with lunch and dinner.

I have also noticed my sleep patterns are improving.  I have struggled with insomnia for many years and the last couple weeks I have noticed that I am slowly starting to sleep more soundly through the night and sleeping for longer periods at a time.

Using an old trick from the Adkins diet when I need something crunchy to go with a meal I use fried pork skins.  Portion wise I eat 3 or 4 pieces, not half the bag.

My energy levels seem to be the same or better than usual.  When I am working out (cardio or lifting weights) I seem to have a little more endurance.

Things I would recommend to anyone else using this diet are to buy a bathroom scale and a full length mirror.  Get naked in front of the mirror every day and you will notice subtle differences every day as you lose weight.  Do an “official” weigh in, with the scales, once every week on the same day at the same time.  This is not really important but it is a big mental booster when you see an actual number of how much weight you have lost.  The mirror check is more important.  Because after all if you think you look good standing naked in front of a mirror, who cares how much, you weigh.

Special considerations…
I’m struggling with a relapse of smoking.  Long story short my e-cigarette failed and in an act of desperation I started smoking again.  So far I have discovered that there are 3 addictions working together in the smoking habit (which are not addressed by any of the smoking secession aids) the first is the nicotine addiction, the second is the carbon monoxide (a temporary condition brought on by smoking more than an addiction) and the oral fixation.  The carbon monoxide is what got me.  I have fixed the e-cig problem and have increased the nicotine levels and am now slowly cutting myself off from the regular cigarettes.

The negative effect of the smoking is amazing.  I am not able to work out at all.  I don’t have the energy, the breath or the motivation.  I have headaches which start about 2 ever day.  Hopefully I will be able to reestablish my workout routine in the next week.

Weight loss I have noticed so far…
For my body at least the weight loss has started on my extremities and is slowly working its way towards my abdomen.  Most of the weight loss I have noticed so far is on the back of my legs and an area of my abdomen  that is roughly shaped like and upside down horseshoe going from my hip bones up through my solar plexus.

Final thoughts for this time…
My weight has been stuck on a plateau for over 6 months now between 162.5 and 157.5 and I am really curious what the results of Saturdays weigh in will be.

Update 10-12-13
Today’s weigh in 155.4.  So this week’s weight loss was 2.8 pounds.

Not bad since I did not make it to the gym this week but I plan on having a full workout week next week.  So next week’s goal it to see how much more (if any) weight will I lose adding weight lifting and cardio back into my weekly routine.

Things I have noticed…
My sleep patterns continue to improve.  When I go to bed I fall asleep really fast and have been waking up once during the night.

I have noticed that I am now going for longer periods of time between eating.  I usually eat breakfast about 7:30 and lunch about 12 but last week I was not getting hungry till 1 so I am now eating lunch an hour later.

I have stopped reducing the amount I eat at each meal.  I made myself feel bad a couple days last week by not eating enough food at lunch because I was not hungry but once I moved lunch back an hour I was hungry and ate more.  I feel much better now.

Till next weeks update.

Our patient is doing a great job in following our Approved Foods List along with incorporating fitness.  He is losing weight and his sleeping patterns have changed for the better.  For this patient he has not been able to get through the 157 pound mark.  In TWO WEEKS he has gotten down to 155.4 pounds.  To me that is very impressive that he is seeing such fantastic results in such a short amount of time.  The weight loss goal for this patient is now 145 pounds, but he has not been able to break through 157 pounds and we have smoked that in only two weeks.  Two things working in his favor and why he is seeing such great results:

1. His commitment to following our "Approved Foods" list and a Paleo Diet
2. Incorporating fitness and strength training
