Weight Loss with RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer, 2 Week Update

We have a patient of ours who has started taking our RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer along with changing his diet.  Our patient is a 44 year old male who works out regularly (about 4-5 times a week), but has he has seen his weight slowly creep up.  He was weighing right at 161 pounds and his clothes were fitting too tight, along with the fact he never gets a good night sleep.  I suggested to our patient that he take our RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops along with modifying his diet to follow our "Approved Foods" list and a Paleo Diet.  This is his progress report through two weeks:

Ok sorry about taking so long to do this.

RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops
First off a bunch of information.  I’m not exactly certain when I started the Paleo diet but let’s say I started the same day I started the metabolism booster which was 9-28-13.  The start weight was 161.4

On 10-05-13 I weighed in at 158.2.

What I am doing…
I’m doing the paleo diet but not hard core.  Because of not being able to find certain types of food easily I don’t always do grass fed beef, free range, ECT.
I am consuming 1 tablespoon of coconut oil dissolved in coffee or herbal tea 3 times a day, basically before every meal.  I am also using the metabolism booster drops, taking them first thing in the morning.

What I have experienced so far…

The three things (diet, oil and drops) seem to work in conjunction.  The first thing I notice was a reduction in the amount of food I ate at each meal and at the same time did not notice any difference in my level of satisfaction.  For example, breakfast was 3 eggs, 3 sausages and a quarter of an avocado, then as time went on it went down to 2 eggs and 2 sausages and now its 1 egg and 1 sausage with avocado.  The same reduction has happened with lunch and dinner.

I have also noticed my sleep patterns are improving.  I have struggled with insomnia for many years and the last couple weeks I have noticed that I am slowly starting to sleep more soundly through the night and sleeping for longer periods at a time.

Using an old trick from the Adkins diet when I need something crunchy to go with a meal I use fried pork skins.  Portion wise I eat 3 or 4 pieces, not half the bag.

My energy levels seem to be the same or better than usual.  When I am working out (cardio or lifting weights) I seem to have a little more endurance.

Things I would recommend to anyone else using this diet are to buy a bathroom scale and a full length mirror.  Get naked in front of the mirror every day and you will notice subtle differences every day as you lose weight.  Do an “official” weigh in, with the scales, once every week on the same day at the same time.  This is not really important but it is a big mental booster when you see an actual number of how much weight you have lost.  The mirror check is more important.  Because after all if you think you look good standing naked in front of a mirror, who cares how much, you weigh.

Special considerations…
I’m struggling with a relapse of smoking.  Long story short my e-cigarette failed and in an act of desperation I started smoking again.  So far I have discovered that there are 3 addictions working together in the smoking habit (which are not addressed by any of the smoking secession aids) the first is the nicotine addiction, the second is the carbon monoxide (a temporary condition brought on by smoking more than an addiction) and the oral fixation.  The carbon monoxide is what got me.  I have fixed the e-cig problem and have increased the nicotine levels and am now slowly cutting myself off from the regular cigarettes.

The negative effect of the smoking is amazing.  I am not able to work out at all.  I don’t have the energy, the breath or the motivation.  I have headaches which start about 2 ever day.  Hopefully I will be able to reestablish my workout routine in the next week.

Weight loss I have noticed so far…
For my body at least the weight loss has started on my extremities and is slowly working its way towards my abdomen.  Most of the weight loss I have noticed so far is on the back of my legs and an area of my abdomen  that is roughly shaped like and upside down horseshoe going from my hip bones up through my solar plexus.

Final thoughts for this time…
My weight has been stuck on a plateau for over 6 months now between 162.5 and 157.5 and I am really curious what the results of Saturdays weigh in will be.

Update 10-12-13
Today’s weigh in 155.4.  So this week’s weight loss was 2.8 pounds.

Not bad since I did not make it to the gym this week but I plan on having a full workout week next week.  So next week’s goal it to see how much more (if any) weight will I lose adding weight lifting and cardio back into my weekly routine.

Things I have noticed…
My sleep patterns continue to improve.  When I go to bed I fall asleep really fast and have been waking up once during the night.

I have noticed that I am now going for longer periods of time between eating.  I usually eat breakfast about 7:30 and lunch about 12 but last week I was not getting hungry till 1 so I am now eating lunch an hour later.

I have stopped reducing the amount I eat at each meal.  I made myself feel bad a couple days last week by not eating enough food at lunch because I was not hungry but once I moved lunch back an hour I was hungry and ate more.  I feel much better now.

Till next weeks update.

Our patient is doing a great job in following our Approved Foods List along with incorporating fitness.  He is losing weight and his sleeping patterns have changed for the better.  For this patient he has not been able to get through the 157 pound mark.  In TWO WEEKS he has gotten down to 155.4 pounds.  To me that is very impressive that he is seeing such fantastic results in such a short amount of time.  The weight loss goal for this patient is now 145 pounds, but he has not been able to break through 157 pounds and we have smoked that in only two weeks.  Two things working in his favor and why he is seeing such great results:

1. His commitment to following our "Approved Foods" list and a Paleo Diet
2. Incorporating fitness and strength training

The RejuvenateYou Metabolic Enhancer Drops are great for people who want to lose weight.  BUT, anyone wanting to lose weight must change how they eat in order to have long-term success.  When a person combines fitness as part of their daily life, it is the perfect storm of losing weight and keeping it off.
